This way no one on the internet sees your credit card information, including the webmasters here at AppaloosasForSale.com *** BEWARE OF SCAMMERS *** Since the early 1980's there has been a scam where the seller receives a fax, email, or letter requesting to purchase an item (this scam is not restricted to horses). The "buyer" usually offers to pay the seller, via Cashiers Check or Wire Transfer, the cost of the item plus a significant amount of money OVER the amount of the item. They then request that you "cash" the payment and send them, or a 3rd party person/company, the rest of the money right away. Also, they usually say that you, the seller, can keep a portion of the extra money for your time and trouble. Most of these scammers are from foreign countries and are very difficult to track down.
